In Year 1 of the OREP, participants in the LRESC Resident Educator Consortium are typically mentored one-on-one by a state-trained mentor that works in their building. Throughout the year, the RE and Mentor will work together to help develop and grow the practice of both the RE and the Mentor. By using collaboration, reflection, and analysis, new teachers will be able to maximize their strengths and refine areas of growth.
