Director of the Multiple Disability Program and Project Search - The Licking Regional ESC has an opening for a Director of the Multiple Disability Program for the 2024-25 school year.  Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Special Education, a minimum of five years teaching experience, a valid Ohio Department of Education Administrative License or the ability to obtain one or willingness to apply for an Alternative Administrative Specialist License. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of federal and state special education laws with preference given to candidates who have leadership/supervisory experience.  Responsibilities currently include supervision of ten to twelve multiple disability classrooms located throughout several Licking County School Districts and the Project Search program which enrolls approximately eight to fifteen students annually.  This position requires excellent communication skills and collaborative work with local agencies, related service professionals, educational aides, transportation staff, teachers, district administrators and other school personnel.  Qualified individuals, licensed through the Ohio Department of Education who are interested in this position should email a letter of interest, resume and references to Dale Lewellen, Superintendent, at [email protected].  Deadline to apply is May 10, 2024.

Newark Learning Center Manager – The Licking Regional ESC is taking applications for the position of Newark Learning Center Manager to be housed at Junior Achievement’s Newark Learning Center at 1440 Granville Road in Newark.  The successful candidate will be responsible for JA BizTown, JA Finance Park, and other programs. Their duties will include overseeing the operations, programs, and staff of JA BizTown, JA Finance Park, and other JA programming in the region. ESL Teacher – Licking Regional ESC has an opening for a projected Full-Time ESL Teacher (would consider part time) to join our related service team for the 2024-25 school year.  Candidates must hold a valid ODE issued teaching license with an endorsement in TESOL.  Outstanding personal/interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills and the ability to keep concise records.  Needed traits include: Sensitivity to the developmental states of children; particular sensitivity to second language development/acquisition and cultural awareness, openness towards parent communication, experience with technology in facilitating instruction, willingness to be flexible in terms of teaching assignment within the school setting.  Interested and qualified candidates should send a letter of interest and current resume to Rachel Gerber at [email protected].  Position will remain open until successful candidate can be found!

Speech and Language Pathologist - The Licking Regional ESC is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to join our ESC Related Service Team. Registered Behavioral Technician- The Licking Regional ESC is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Registered Behavioral Technician to join our ESC Related Service Team!  The Registered Behavior Technician is a paraprofessional certification in behavior analysis. ED Intervention Specialist - The Licking Regional ESC is seeking an Intervention Specialist to work with our ED department at Phoenix Central. Our students have emotional disabilities and require a sensitive and intuitive teacher. The successful candidate will work with small group of high need students. Applicant must hold a current Ohio Licensure as Intervention Specialist or have all the credentials to obtain one. CPI training is a plus but we will provide training if needed. Applicants should be self-motivated, team oriented and be willing to take instruction.
