The Licking Regional Educational Service Center provides classes which are specially designed to support the unique needs of students in the public school setting who experience moderate to intensive disabilities. With a typical class size of eight or fewer students, our MD program serves students ages 5-21. Our Program has Kindergarten through twelfth grade classroom settings located within Heath City, Granville Exempted Village, and North Fork Local School Districts.
Our MD Program Staff are a group of Highly Qualified Intervention Specialist and Paraprofessionals, who are dedicated to providing the supports needed to help each student to be challenged and supported within their abilities. Related services are provided to students on an individual basis per their needs as determined by the student's IEP. Our MD Staff work collaboratively with district teachers to support our students and their parents.
Our MD Program promotes and facilitates inclusion opportunities for all students with appropriate supports. Students attend lunch, specials, and assemblies with their peers, as well as general education core content classes relevant to each student’s personal IEP driven goals.
