In Year 2 of the OREP, participants in the LRESC Resident Educator Consortium will typically be a part of a Resident Educator Cohort, under the guidance of a state-trained mentor that works in their building. Throughout the year, the REs and Mentor will work together to help develop and grow the practice of both the REs and the Mentor. By using collaboration, reflection, and analysis, teachers will be able to maximize their strengths and refine areas of growth. Year 2 will allow REs to begin to work together more purposefully as they continue to develop the qualities and skills necessary to maximize the growth of their students.
